What John’s coaching clients say
John is as natural as coaches come. With an intuitive aptitude to read people and a genuine interest to bring out their best, clients feel immediately at ease to bring a large variety of topics to the coaching table. John coached me for one year and I directly contribute my success in the non-profit industry as result of his coaching and encouragement. With his own leadership experience John could relate first-hand to many of the challenges I was facing as a leader. With his entrepreneurial and fundraising background he can relate to those seeking to start up new and exciting initiatives. I highly recommend John – he’ll never give less than his absolute best!
– Roshani Morton, Partnership Director at Tearfund Canada
I was fortunate to receive coaching from John during my first six months of a new leadership position. It was a challenging transition for me that very much put me outside of my comfort zone. John provided a safe space for me to identify and work through my fears. Through a combination of reading materials, quizzes, and John’s highly perceptive nature, I was able to uncover and better understand my personality type, including desirable and less desirable traits and tendencies, and how they would impact me in my new role. John supported me to build my emotional intelligence and develop my leadership and management styles.
On the technical side, John, as an experienced fundraiser, was an excellent sounding board for exploring fundraising ideas and activities. . . . Thanks to my time with John, I am leading my team to success with confidence, empathy, and authenticity. I highly recommend John for his coaching; he will help you to become a more effective leader and a more confident person, and you’ll have a lot of fun with him too!
