The fundraisers’ New Year’s sing-along

(To the tune of Auld Lang Syne*)

Should auld supporters be forgot,

And prospects never mined?

Their aid, from old and new, we seek,

With appealings so sublime.

With appealings so sublime my friend,

Through mail, online or phone,

We prize all gifts, both large and small,

And love donors as our own.

Our events have all been run so well

And mailings dropped in time

So now we pause before we craft

More appealings so sublime.

With appealings so sublime my friend,

Through mail, online and phone,

We prize all gifts, both large and small,

And love donors as our own.

Bequests can take us by surprise,

Investment gifts, sometimes!

Still, we always tend to thank

Our appealings so sublime.

With appealings so sublime my friend,

Through mail, online and phone,

We prize all gifts, both large and small,

And love donors as our own.

Love donors as our own, my dear

With honor all the time,

For we need them as our friends and fans,

And for our appealings, so sublime.

Happy New Year!
